During the era that sports teams are going back to an older look, the Bills decided to hop on that bandwagon in 2011. The results were typical of going back in time, people loved it. I mean, if your look doesn't work now but you had a look that worked in the past, why shouldn't you just go back to that? This look reminds Bills fans of the 1970's with running back O.J. Simpson, which gives the fans a historical feeling.

This helmet was so beloved by people so much that people wished that when Houston got an NFL team in 2002, they wished that they would keep these colors because of the proud history among the team. Oilers fans loved the nostalgic look of the sky blue oil derrick and the Texas red, which symbolized Houston's past and present.

This helmet keeps the look that reminds every 49ers fan of the proud history of the franchise but with a modern look of the white fading into the California gold color. With this helmet, came the continuing of the proud history of the franchise with quarterback Colin Kaepernick, running back Frank Gore, free safety Dashon Goldson, linebacker Patrick Willis and linebacker Aldon Smith. This helmet does a good job combining the history of the team with their success today.

These colors also bring out the nostalgia of Colorado with the pioneer orange and the cool blue with the horse in the middle, blowing out smoke, which falls in the hearts of Broncos fans.

Even with how horrible this team played in this helmet during these twenty years, people still loved these colors and Buccaneers fans still admire the days of when the team wore these on game day. This helmet was great for a Florida team, playing football down there in the heat and humidity that Florida brings. The helmet features Bucco Bruce in the middle, which people reminds them of the history that this team brings with the classic looking red and orange featured on it.

The Green Bay Packers are known as one of the most successful NFL franchises of all time and with this helmet came greatness from the days of Brett Favre to the days of Aaron Rodgers. There is no doubt why this helmet is popular, especially with their worldwide fanbase with people mortgaging their houses just to see these helmets in action. There is a reason why they haven't changed their look after 50+ years, because people love it.

After the Seahawks made a uniform change after the NFL decided to make the switch from Reebok to Nike in 2012, the Vikings decided to make a uniform change and with that came a more modern look on a historical helmet. This helmet brought back the look of dark purple that many Vikings fans know and love and add that with the modern matte look of the helmet which creates popularity.

This helmet is a nice twist on the Redskins helmet that is most famous with the maroon background with the indian in the middle with the feathers behind it but the nostalgia behind the history of this proud franchise with its huge fanbase would be a favorite among Redskins fans.

This helmet, even though that this specific design was only around for two years captured the popularity, even with people outside of Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont and some parts of Connecticut. Even with how bad the Patriots were back then and how great they are now with just the Patriot's head on the helmet, many Patriot fans, no matter how old or young they are, love to represent this nostalgic logo with pride.

This helmet, after going through some tough waters for a few seasons finally saw success with quarterback Drew Brees, free safety Darren Sharper, right guard Jahri Evans, center Jonathan Goodwin, middle linebacker Jonathan Vilma, strong safety Roman Harper and others that turned this lowly franchise into a threat during this time period. Add that with the pride that New Orleans and all of Louisiana felt after Hurricane Katrina with their Saints and this becomes a popular helmet.

When the NFL made the switch from Reebok to Nike in 2012, the Seahawks decided to be innovative in switching out their uniforms too. This helmet, with the uniform ensemble was very popular not just to the folks in Seattle but also across the country too. With these new helmets came success as the Seahawks as they made the playoffs that year with rookie quarterback Russell Wilson, running back Marshawn Lynch and their unstoppable defense featuring Richard Sherman, Earl Thomas and Kam Chancellor.
